Ryan Reaves Gives Pat Maroon a HUGE NUT SHOT: Suspension Coming?
If Ryan Reaves is known for one thing it is his physical ability to hit every living thing that's moving when it comes to his role in the NHL, and that definitely can draw some backlash with dirty hits as well.
Ryan Reaves is one of the best psychical players in todays game when he's playing clean, and when he's not he is costing his team greatly as he's mostly sitting in the box and the Rangers are down a man.
Just minutes in to Friday's game 2 between the Lighting and Rangers Reaves and Patrick Maroon exchanged blows at the center ice face off, all was fine until Ryan Reaves took it one step too far- hitting Maroon in the nuts quite hard which sparked a large scrum.
Reaves was assessed a two minute minor penalty, but it's seeming to believe the NHL player safety committee will be looking further into it and possibly announcing discipline for Reaves's actions.
