NUMBER 10 - 100:26
Chicago at St. Louis - April 17, 2014
Speaking of triple OT, the Blackhawks started off their first round series against the Blues with a 3OT of their own. Unfortunately, it ended in a 4-3 loss, when Alex Steen scored 26 seconds into the 6th period. Their next game was also an OT loss (just the one), but they rallied, and ended up winning the next 4 in a row to move on to take the Wild. Chicago won that series, as well, but lost to the Kings in 7 in the Conference Final.

NUMBER 9 - 101:00
Chicago vs. Nashville - April 21, 2015
In another first round series, this time against Nashville the Blackhawks were already up 2-1 before this goal by Brent Seabrook, 1 minute into 3OT gave them the 3-1 lead, allowing them to win the series in 6, and eventually the Cup.
NUMBER 8 - 1:01:29
Chicago at New York Rangers - April 29, 1971
In an unfortunate 3-2, loss, Chicago played their 8th longest game in a Game 6 of the Stanley Cup semi-finals. Pete Stemkowski scored the GWG for the Rangers, forcing a Game 7. The Blackhawks did end up winning Game 7, but lost - also in 7 games - to the Canadiens in the Cup Final.
NUMBER 7 - 1:04:33
Chicago vs. Colorado - May 8, 1996
In another 3-2 loss, in the second consecutive playoff series where their Game 4 went into triple overtime, the Hawks faced Joe Sakic and the Avs. It was Sakic, himself, who netted the GWG 4:33 into 3OT. Chicago eventually lost the series to Colorado in 6 games.
NUMBER 6 - 110:02
Chicago at Calgary - April 23, 1996
In what eventually became a sweep for the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, the Flames did not go out quietly. It took 59:51 for Chicago to score at all, which also happened to be the tying goal from Jeremy Roenick, and then 2 full over times, and 10:02 of the third for Joe Murphy to score the GWG.
NUMBER 5 - 111:43
Chicago at Montréal - March 26, 1930
In an Original Six match-up for the 1930 Quarter Finals, the second of the two game series had Chicago ahead, 2-1. However, since the Canadiens had won the first game 1-0, and the winner was determined by most goals scored, the ending game had to go on until someone scored. Unfortunately for the Hawks, that someone was future Hall of Famer Howie Morenz, clinging the series win for Montréal.
Not footage of this particular game, but some pretty interesting clips from some of the NHL's earliest games:
NUMBER 4 - 112:08
Chicago vs. Boston - June 12, 2013
With 117 shots on goal between both teams, Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final went to the Chicago Blackhawks after 12:08 into the third OT when Andrew Shaw got the Blackhawks' fourth goal past Tuukka Rask. Boston went on to take the next two games, including an OT win for Game 2, but Chicago came back fighting in Game 4, pushing the Bruins to another over time, with the result of a 6-5 score in favor of the Blackhawks. They took games 5 and 6 as well, winning the series and the Cup for the 2nd time in 3 years.
NUMBER 3 - 112:12
Chicago vs. Montréal (again) - March 26, 1931
Unlike the game in 1930, the Blackhawks came up with a 2-1 win over the Canadiens in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Semi-Final. Murray Balfour's goal gave them a 2-1 series lead, as well. Though they lost Game 4, they won their next 3, allowing them to face the Red Wings in the Final. Chicago won their 3rd Stanley Cup - after 23 years since their 2nd. They would end up waiting over twice as long for their 4th.
NUMBER 2 - 113:50
Chicago at Montréal (yet, again) - April 9, 1931
In their first ever Stanley Cup Final appearance, the Hawks faced their frequent rivals, the Canadiens. Winning Game 3 off of Cy Wentworth's goal in the third overtime period put Chicago ahead in the best of 5 series 2 games to 1. The series went to the full five games, but Chicago did not get to hold the Cup until 2 years later.
NUMBER 1 - 116:12
Chicago at Anaheim - May 19, 2015
On the road to their most recent Stanley Cup championship, Chicago had to face Anaheim in the Semi-Finals. After already playing one triple overtime game in the first round against Nashville (Number 9 on this list), the Blackhawks were quite familiar to the scene that presented itself in Game 2 with the Ducks. If the goal off of Andrew Shaw's head in the 2nd OT had been allowed, we wouldn't have our longest game in franchise history. But it wasn't, so here we are. Instead of winning a period earlier, Chicago had to wait until the 3rd OT was almost over before Marcus Kruger scored a goal that counted. It took all 7 games to get through this round, but they took that endurance and applied to to beating the Lighting in the Final for their 6th Stanley Cup.
