The Blackhawks Update us on The Topic of a Patrick Kane Trade..
With the Blackhawks coming off their worst season since 2005-2006 there are tons of speculation surrounding key pieces to the Blackhawks current franchise that may be moved, one involving Patrick Kane. Despite the Blackhawks having such a dreadful season Patrick Kane sure has not, DeBrincat-Kane found their groove and the duo combined for all time new career high stats between the two.
Kane's amazing season leaves question to Kyle Davidson's rebuilding approach to the Blackhawks, and how a possible Kane trade could spark a huge return for the Blackhawks future. Rumours were previously discussed and confirmed by NHL insider Elliot Friedman at the 2021-22 trade deadline that the Colorado Avalanche and New York Rangers contacted the Blackhawks regarding Patrick Kane.
Blackhawks insider recently confirmed that Kyle Davidson is leaving it in Patrick Kane's hands on when he wants out, as well as the same for Jonathan Toews-both getting a "open door policy" as Davidson says.
Now that it is in the hands of Kane himself, would he want to spend his last few seasons as a Blackhawk on a rebuilding team or will he go elsewhere to possibly achieve a Stanley Cup to close out his NHL career?
