The Canucks General Manager Disrespected J.T Miller: Update on His Future in Vancouver..
It wasn't the season the Vancouver Canucks were hoping for. After a slow start the franchise made some big changes, head Coach Travis Greene was fired and Bruce Boudreau was brought in as his replacement but couldn't make up for the early season disaster Greene created.
Knowing the teams expectations weren't met it was clear changes were coming. However it is not just any changes, changes could be even more drastic than some expected. TSN's Hockey Insider Darren Dreger revealed the Vancouver Canucks were listening to trade offers on top stars JT Miller, and
Brock Boeser. Boeser has now re-signed in Vancouver, leaving J.T Miller a lone wolf on the trade block.
Miller was rumoured to be traded earlier in the season but the Canucks didn't get the value they were hoping for so they didn't move him, most expected they did not move him as they were looking to offer a new contract to Miller to keep him in Vancouver, that was not the case..
Fast forward a few months after he has been on the trade block, and things have gotten even worse for the Canucks, to the point where Miller even feels disrespected by the teams general manager. A NHL insider by the name of Satiar Shah who covers the Vancouver Canucks reported that the team offered J.T Miller a contract, nowhere close to where he wants, drawing more frustration and a disrespectful feeling J.T Miller now has.
The Canucks are basically scaring their star player away, and the franchise believes if the team is in a playoff spot by next seasons trade deadline, he will 100% be moved elsewhere.
