The Tampa Bay Lighting Receive Game-Changing News Before Game 6
The Tampa Bay Lighting and New York Rangers are facing off for their conference finals to see who will be heading to the Stanley Cup Finals, and the favorite has quickly changed. The New York Rangers were up two games to zero in the series until the Lighting won three straight games with what seemed like ease, and they look to put away the Rangers for good Saturday in front of there home crowd in Tampa.
Some may think the series may have been done much sooner if they had one of their key pieces healthy, which is forward Brayden Point. Point went down with a scary leg injury against the Toronto Maple Leafs in round one and has yet to play since.
Well good news has been received this morning that Brayden Point may be good to go tonight! Jon Cooper says he'll be a game time decision. If not tonight, it seems as if he'll be in the lineup for the cup finals (if Tampa wins tonight) OR ready for game 7!
