The WORST Missed Call SO FAR? This Referee Should be FIRED!
Last night during the battle of Alberta things got heated, sending Evander Kane and Matthew Tkachuk to the penalty box with coincidental minor penalties, at the same time a Calgary Flames defenseman was sent- for a separate situation.
Coincidental penalties, the two players who took them are allowed to leave the penalty box during stop play after 2 minutes pass and a whistle blows.
Matthew Tkachuk decided to hop on the ice when a Flames defenseman's penalty was over and that defenseman was supposed to leave the box, Matthew Tkachuk ended up scoring. While Evander Kane was still properly in the box.
This was missed by the official, and the Oilers argued- but could not challenge.
This goal lead the Calgary flames to a two goal lead, putting the Oilers to sleep and out of reach of a comeback.
