The final decision on the Arizona Coyotes franchise is here
The Arizona Coyotes are still in the game, according to Craig Morgan of Gophnx.com. Although they recently failed a vote in Tempe for a new arena, they have a strong and notable history in Arizona.
Unfortunately, the credibility of Gary Bettman and the NHL has been compromised as they keep the franchise afloat.
To reiterate: The Coyotes are NOT for sale and both the NHL & the team feel there are still options for building an arena in the Valley.

However, the Coyotes are not on the market for sale, and the league is exploring various locations for their new arena. Despite rumors, Houston will not be receiving a hockey franchise.
The potential sites for the new arena include Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land. Reports of the Old Fiesta Mall being a potential relocation site are incorrect, as the team is not interested in that location.
Currently, there are talks between the Coyotes and De Rito Partners regarding Pima Road, which is tribal land that prohibits sportsbooks or residences.
Although the team is feeling pressure from players' agents, the league has not imposed the same level of stress on the Coyotes organization to make a decision about their new arena's location.
Another Gary Bettman failure.
