WATCH: Brayden Point Breaks Down in Tears & Pat Maroon Shows Him Love
The Tampa Bay Lighting approach game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs with a loaded offense, containing 40 goal scorer Steven Stamkos, right behind him is Brayden Point with 28 goals scored during the regular season.
During Saturdays game 7, within the first period of the game the Tampa Bay Lighting lose a HUGE key piece to their offense when Brayden Point goes down after a very awkward fall into the boards.
Point than proceeded to head to the lockeroom to be evaluated if he can make a return for the second period, and he sure did! Brayden Point played a shift during the second period but showed plenty of discomfort with his leg/foot, causing him to break down as he is aware it is a severe injury and not something he can shake off..
But thankfully hockey is number one for a reason, Pat Maroon shows his love to comfort Brayden Point during his hard times.
