WATCH: Krug Throws Massive Hit Without Helmet On
If I were asked what about today's day and age reminds me of old time hockey, I would simply show them this video. Torey Krug (Bruins defenseman at the time) has always been known for his short temper, and not being afraid to stand up for himself.
David Perron and Krug got into a little scuffle which lead to Krug falling as-well as his helmet being smacked off his head. As soon as Krug got up, he locked eyes on the closest player he could find (with his helmet off) and took a run at them.
Looking back on it today, it's quite funny. Now Torey Krug is on the St.Louis Blues and is teammates with David Perron.
