To say the Minnesota Wild's season ended in disappointment would be a understatement. Especially for goaltender Marc Andre Fleury who believed that was a good opportunity to win one more Stanley Cup.
Unfortunately for Fleury that wasn't the case but the 37 year old three time Stanley Cup winner hasn't given up on that dream yet. It appears that Fleury will be looking at a place next season. However one of the teams that Fleury has no interest in as the Edmonton Oilers who are desperate for a real number one goaltender after the Colorado Avalanche lit Mike Smith and Mikko Koskinen up like a Christmas tree in the playoffs.
Fleury doesn't believe the Oilers have what it takes to contend against the big name teams so Fleury has again chose not to go to Edmonton but hasn't ruled out a return to Minnesota where he was a fan favorite during his brief tenure.
Fleury posted a 28-23-4 record with a 2.90 GAA and .908 Save Percentage with the Wild & Blackhawks. At 37 Fleury still feels he can play and will surely get offers come free agency day.
