Zack Kassian Pulled Off The Ultimate Dirt Bag Move- From The BENCH!?
Edmonton Oilers Zack Kassian is known for his rough play especially come playoff time, he is also known for his boneheaded-like decisions that has cost his team on multiple occasions with penalties.
Thursday the two teams met in their heated matchup of game 2, Colorado already leading the series 2-0.
Zack Kassian was sitting on the bench when Avalanche defenseman Bowen Byram was tossed into the boards with a huge hit. Kassian proceeded to rip his helmet off and give him a little nudge to the back of the head.
What may seem like a hockey play, there is a lot more to it. Bowen Byram's NHL career was in jeopardy due to long-term concussion side affects which held him out of a lot of time throughout his playing career.
His concussion side affects make him a very fragile player and everyone as well as most fan bases are aware of his struggles. Byram's struggles got so deep it was shown in a video while he was on team Canada that he texted his mother stating:
I don't think I can do this anymore, my head is hurting too much
