"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced a contract extension on Wednesday. The team has given defenseman Carl Dahlstrom a two year contract extension that will run through the 2020-21 season. After 46 games with the Hawks, Dahlstrom has registered nine assists after recording career highs with the IceHogs last year which included 25 assists and 28 points and making an appearance in the AHL All-Star Game.
