It was a weird year for Brent Seabrook. The defenseman was made a healthy scratch and some controversy surrounded it. When all was said and done, it was announced that Seabrook would be having multiple surgeries and would miss the rest of the season. He's had three separate surgeries to address his shoulder and both his hips. The 34 year old took a couple of minutes to talk to reporters during the 12th annual Blackhawks ICE Bowl. «I am where I was two months ago,» said Seabrook. «Having three surgeries in five weeks isn't ideal, but I'm feeling great. We're slow moving right now. I'm hoping I can start moving more and getting more things going. Dr. (Michael) Terry is pretty tough with this hip brace. He's not letting me take it off. I'd like to take it off. I'd like to get on the ice. I'd like to skate. But, yeah, we're just sort of taking it day by day. I have a lot of great people around me helping me out, pushing me in the right direction to get better.» We wish him the best of luck in his recovery!
