Despite leaving the first period with a 1-1 tie against the Colorado Avalanche, the Chicago Blackhawks let the game slip away in the second period. The Blackhawks had lots of defensive breakdowns and in the end, Colorado skated away with a 4-1 win. Before the game the major storyline was the fact that head coach Jeremy Colliton made Brent Seabrook a healthy scratch. After the game, Duncan Keith made it clear he wasn't too happy about the decision and it was tough seeing Seabrook in the press box. "Yeah it is," Keith said. "I thought he had been playing well. When we're in the D-zone a long time, we could break down every little play. Tough to pin it on one guy out there when there's five guys." Has Colliton already lost the room?"I don't know how to answer that. Myself, I have to focus on my game and being as best as I can out there."I don't like seeing my good friend -- obviously been with him a long time -- sitting out. As players, you have to focus on the job that you've got to do and you're in there and that's all you can do, is try to be at your best."It's bad news if Colliton is losing the room considering the majoring of the room has no movement clauses.
