While the Chicago Blackhawks continue to show some improvement under new head coach Derek King, the team is still looking like they'll be sellers at the trade deadline. We've heard that goalie Marc-Andre Fleury is pretty much guaranteed to be flipped at the deadline as long as he gives the team permission to move. Who else could be on the move?According to Dave Pagnotta of the Fourth Period, interest is starting to grow regarding veteran defenseman Calvin de Haan. Teams will be looking for a versatile defenseman in the final year of his contract. «In addition to Strome, there is a defenceman on this club who's in the final year of his contract in Calvin de Haan,» Pagnotta said. «For teams looking to shore up their blueline and bring in somebody that can stabilize that backend, Calvin de Haan is going to be a player that a lot of teams are going to be looking at closer to that deadline.» Scott Powers of The Athletic mentioned in his recent mailbag that the team might have to eat part of de Haan's remaining salary hit but he could bring back a prospect or draft pick. The 30 year old's deal carries a $4.55million cap hit on the full season.
