Two Blackhawks' Prospects Nominated For Hobey Baker Award.

The Chicago Blackhawks continue to linger around the bottom of the NHL standings however there continues to be some bright spots in the organization. At the NHL level, Patrick Kane hasn't lost a step while Collin Delia continues to make a serious push to be the Blackhawks goalie of the future and now some prospects have made headlines. Prospects Evan Barratt and Ian Mitchell have both been nominated for the NCAA's 2019 Hobey Baker Award. The 19 year old Barratt who was drafted by the Hawks' in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft sits among the NCAA league leaders with 30 points in 19 games at Penn State. He was also part of the silver medal winning Team USA at the World Junior Championships. Mitchell was one of Team USA's best defenseman at the World Junior Championships and registered three points in five games.
