It didn't look like it was going to happen at first when the New York Rangers acquired Vladimir Tarasenko, but Patrick Kane was traded before the deadline to the New York Rangers also.
You could tell Kane didn't want to leave Chicago as he's been here since being drafted first overall back in 2007, and playing over 1100 games with the Blackhawks winning 3 Stanley Cups.
Former NHL'er turned hit show Podcaster for Spittin Chiclets Ryan Whitney would discuss the Kane trade. Being traded as a whole can cause a lot of stress and issues that many may not believe, New York Rangers fans are already being hard on Kane as well, that surely does not help.
Whitney makes some valid points but I believe Kane will flourish in the playoffs in the big Apple. Kane's got a golden opportunity to win one more Stanley Cup on a star studded Rangers roster, the Rangers are expected to have a very deep run and possibly win it all this Playoffs.
