The Blackhawks Have The Next Nikita Kucherov in the KHL!
It seems the Blackhawks have the next Nikita Kucherov in the KHL, with the Metallurg Magnitogorsk.
His name is Roman Kantserov, and has had a brilliant showing in the MHL, the league below the KHL.
His points per game production has outshone, the Tampa Bay Lightning superstar Kucherov, as Kantserov is 6th all-time in this metric:
Just a reminder that #Blackhawks prospect Roman Kantserov's D-1 points per game production was 6th all-time among MHL prospects at 1.04.
That's higher than Nikita Kucherov.

It sounds like this is the best kind of foreboding for a future NHLer, especially if he's better than Nikita Kucherov!
In the last two seasons, Kantserov played 53 games in the KHL, scoring 15 points( 8 G, 7 A), and played 45 games in the MHL with Magnitogorsk's junior club scoring 54 points(27 G, 27 A).
Is he a generational talent that was just skipped over in 2023 for Matvei Michkov?
We'll see when he finally arrives in the Windy City.
