Pat Maroon has a decision to make with the Blackhawks, and that depends on whether or not he'll stay.

The Chicago Blackhawks have to prioritize their next steps as the team will be in line for a lottery pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
They'll have to figure out what to do with veterans like Pat Maroon, who while offering leadership are playing ancillary roles on the team.
Spots should be opened up for the youth movement to prosper, and, arguably, players like Maroon have held back the team from making headway on the rebuild.
Maroon mentioned to the Chicago Sun-Times that he and Kyle Davidson have spoken.
He'd like to remain in Chicago, but he knows Davidson will have his own priorities and decisions to make before the trade deadline.
And Maroon, a depth forward who doesn't contribute much offensively or as an enforcer.
This season he's played 54 games with the Blackhawks and scored only 14 points (4 G, 10 A) for the team, while primarily being a fixture on the fourth line.
He'd find a way to help teammate Lukas Reichel out of his slump, and undoubtedly he'd be sad to see him go.
For Davidson to move Maroon, the juice would have to be worth the squeeze, and his trade value isn't much these days if we're being honest.
Maroon will have to hang tight and hope for the best, as he and his wife who is pregnant and due in April wait to hear the latest on his fate in Chicago.
While he's not been the forward we've seen lift a Stanley Cup in St. Louis, he's offered some muscle and some gusto in times of strife.
The former Stanley Cup champion deserves some kind of idea of what his next three months will look like, even if they are in a different uniform.
The former Bruins forward was drafted 161st overall in the 6th round of the 2007 NHL Draft.
