Blackhawks prospect Nick Lardis was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2023 NHL Draft. He looks like a steal, as he's put up another multi-point game in Brantford, the 14th this year.

The Chicago Blackhawks and GM Kyle Davidson have hit on many draft picks recently. As Frank Nazar has made his NHL debut this weekend, one prospect in Brantford looks as if Davidson got a steal.

Nick Lardis was a 3rd-round draft pick 67th overall in the draft which saw the Blackhawks secure their future with Connor Bedard.

This season, Lardis has performed exceptionally well, as today Lardis scored another multi-point game in the OHL, with the Bulldogs.

His 14th game this season, giving him 200 career points in the OHL.

This season Lardis has played 29 games with the Bulldogs scoring 48 points( 26 G, 22 A).

Let's chat for a quick moment about Nick Lardis.

Lardis was a third-round pick (No. 67) in 2023 after a really good junior season helped his stock rise quickly. He scored 25 goals in 33 games after getting traded from Peterborough to Hamilton in his pre-draft season.

He followed his draft season with a good year, but the gross numbers don't blow you away because a wrist injury cut his season short and impacted his scoring when he returned. He still scored 29 goals in only 37 games for Brantford.

Lardis could turn out to be one of the best 3rd-round draft picks in the organization ever if he keeps up the production he has this season.

While it's exciting to report on Lardis' continue development it appears that he will likely make his professional debut in 2025-2026.
