Well, there are a lot of problems with CHSN. It's only available to watch through antenna and DirecTV in the Chicago area. But, if you don't live in the area or are not struggling with blackouts, you can just turn on ESPN+ and watch it that way. Meaning, it's easier to watch a Chicago Blackhawks game if you're not in the Chicago area.
CHSN posted a tweet earlier this morning that made fans angry. The tweet was a video of the sounds of morning skate before the game tonight. Fans took their anger to reply under the post, commenting how they can't watch the game.
All of these fans are right. No deal with XFinity, Hulu, and YouTube TV, and being the fact that they're big streaming platforms, they should already be on there. This should've all been thought out and done beforehand, as all of this could've been avoided. It's 2024, who's going out to buy an antenna?
It gets even sadder. CHSN posted a tweet, telling people to call XFinity to help convince them to get their channel. CHSN clearly doesn't want to settle money wise, so they're having us do the work for them that should've been done in the first place.
All the backlash is deserved. There were no problems with NBC Sports Chicago. All of a sudden, there's a world of problems with CHSN, with new Blackhawks management and ownership. There's a high possibility Rocky would've never let this happen, and it's a disgrace that fans cannot easily access the Blackhawks games in 2024.
