Connor Bedard booed by entire arena for first time in his career
Not only on March 22nd did the Anaheim Ducks shut out the Blackhawks 4-0, but they expressed their disdain for the Hawks in multiple ways.
As
Connor Bedard wasn't able to be a game-changer this particular night, the Ducks fans booed Bedard during the game.
This may have been a result of
Leo Carlsson's injury which was caused by
Alex Vlasic's knee-on-knee collision, an accident.
Bedard was booed vociferously, as Ducks fans were unhappy, as Leo Carlsson hasn't been the player they'd hoped he'd be this season.
While Bedard is in the Calder Trophy running, he has run circles around Carlsson, playing 57 games this season with the Blackhawks, posting 55 points(21 G, 34 A), and isn't being load-managed by Greg Cronin, like Leo Carlsson.
Connor Bedard has had a stellar rookie season, on a terrible NHL team this year.
While, Leo Carlsson is struggling on a terrible Anaheim Ducks team, only playing 43 games, posting 24 points(9 G, 15 A).
According to DailyFaceOff.com, the Anaheim Ducks have the 3rd best odds right now to draft
Macklin Celebrini as well.
