Amazon Prime isn't just dipping their feet into the hockey realm, after 2021's "All or Nothing" which exclusively featured the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Along with the NFL, Prime will feature broadcasting featuring NHL personalities which will give us analysis across the NHL.

The titled program will be called "Coast to Coast" and it could be considered "Red Zone" but it's for our beloved sport, Hockey!

This is just one new feature program that Amazon will run in concert with Prime Monday Night Hockey, which will stream hockey every Monday in Canada.

On Thursdays, the team will bring analysis and their viewpoints regarding storylines, and statistics about your favorite NHLers.

Honestly, for NHL fans this could be a major treat, as Amazon will be producing a behind-the-scenes documentary for the NHL too, which will star many personalities. which was announced in June.

Prime Video announces an untitled project with Box To Box Films and NHL Productions that will give access to life in the National Hockey League. The action-packed docuseries will focus on the NHL's biggest teams and most compelling characters, all at different stages of their careers, as they embark throughout the season on the ultimate pursuit of glory - winning the coveted Stanley Cup. The docuseries will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide and is the latest addition to the Prime membership. Prime members enjoy savings, convenience, and entertainment, all in a single membership.

This could honestly be an exciting development for the NHL, as it wasn't until recently we could accuse Gary Bettman of failing to grow the game and find a way to gain a new audience.

Thankfully, he had Connor Bedard in 2023-2024, who did the majority of heavy lifting for the NHL.

But with Amazon helping the NHL reach new households, and give us a behind-the-scenes look into the league, this is exciting.

Of course, there are cons to everything and one of them is the fact you'll need a Prime membership to view some of the programming.

Then, another issue is the fact that Monday Night Hockey will only be available in Canada.

The series will feature in-depth interviews with key players, their rivals and those in their closest inner circle - teammates, coaches, and family. The series will also reveal what life on-and-off the ice is really like for the league's top players. From the quiet reflective moments to the speed and intensity of being on hockey's biggest stage - revealing the talent, grit, and sacrifice it takes to make it in the NHL. Superstar players followed in the series include Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid; Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk; New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba; Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl; Boston Bruins teammates David Pastrnak and Jeremy Swayman; Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes; Vegas Golden Knights forward Jack Eichel; Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander; Nashville Predators forward Filip Forsberg; and Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog, among others

I guess you can't win them all, but it was a good attempt, Gary.

We do look forward to seeing Willy Styles in the new behind-the-scenes documentary though.
