With all the recent moves made by general manager Kyle Davidson it's clear that he would like to see his team move up in the standings and one position that's still has a question mark is goaltending.
Jarry has been rumored to be on the move ever since the trade deadline in March as general manager Kyle Dubas seeks to open salary while having a prospect goaltender ready to make the move to the NHL.
This report also reveals the Edmonton Oilers and the Utah hockey club as possible destinations, but I feel the Blackhawks would benefit the most in acquiring this talent as he would help stabilize the net along with working in tandem with Laurent Brossoit who was recently signed this summer.
Acquiring Jarry also would give Arvid Soderblom a greater chance to develop his game either with the Blackhawks or the Rockford Icehogs.
Dubas has much work to do with his Penguins as they may be entering a retool or mini rebuild and moving Jarry would certainly speed up the process. Opening the cap hit of $5.375 million would certainly help their cause.
In terms of trade the Blackhawks have much to offer in terms of draft capital and players within their roster and AHL team that could satisfy Dubas' trade demands.
