Over the summer, a tragedy happened when it was announced that brothers Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau were killed in a drunk driving incident.
It impacted friends and family of the brothers, and the entire hockey world. Everyone came together to mourn the loss, as the two of them are gone way too soon.
Even nearly a month later, there's still some disbelief that this happened, and that this NHL season will go on without Johnny Gaudreau, who had it all in terms of skill on the ice.
With the preseason games kicking off on Saturday night, the NHL held tributes to the brothers, who passed away on August 29.
It was a minute long video that touched the hearts of everybody.
