Petr Mrazek has been injury prone his whole career, and this season he has been out twice with groin injuries. Him going out again is most likely, so what can the Blackhawks do if he does?

We don't do anything. It is most likely that we keep on doing what we've been doing. Call up Jaxson Stauber until Alex Stalock comes back from a concussion. Arvid Soderblom has been really good for a young goalie like him, and has been impressing not only fans, but the coaching staff and management.

We sign Braden Holtby. This probably won't be a popular solution among most fans, but it would be the cheapest one if we want to try something new. Of course, he isn't the Holtby he was on the Capitals, but he didn't do too bad when he was starting on the Dallas Stars. Chicago has nothing to lose, and it could be a fun little experiment for just this season.

We trade for Anton Forsberg. Anton Forsberg is the Ottawa Senators backup goalie. Anton is a veteran, at 30 years old, and was a 7th round pick in 2011. Forsberg has a GAA of 3.28, and a SV% of .908 and is 5-7-2. The Swedish goaltender stands at 6'3 and covers the net pretty well. He would be a nice rental for just this season.

We trade for James Reimer. James is 34 years old, and he currently shares reps with 26-year-old Kaapo Kahkonen on the Sharks. The Canadian was drafted in the 4th round of the 2006 draft. Reimer has a GAA of 2.86, a SV% of .906, and is 6-8. In my opinion, Reimer will be the better option than Forsberg, however the age difference may throw some people off. But that could be an advantage, because he won't take so much to get. Maybe a couple mid-level prospects who Chicago doesn't know if they're going to pan out. With the position San Jose is in, that won't be too bad for them.

We trade for Karel Vejmelka. Karel is 26 years old, and the current starting goaltender for the Arizona Coyotes. He was born in the Czech Republic and was selected in the 5th round of the 2015 draft. Vejmelka has a GAA of 3.11, a SV% of .911, and is 9-8. However, he is the Yotes' only hope, and is the youngest on this list, so he will take more to get. Connor Ingram isn't anywhere near NHL ready yet. Maybe Max Domi and another fill in player will get him.
