All of the Blackhawks prospects competing in the NCAA men's Ice Hockey tournament have officially been eliminated. The final domino falling with Minnesota-Duluth's defeat to Denver in the quarterfinals. Which means the end of the road for prospects Wyatt Kaiser and Connor Kelly and the rest of the Bulldogs. Minnesota-Duluth would finish the season with a record of 22-16-4.

Landon Slaggert and Ryder Rolston had similar journeys in this years tournament with the Fighting Irish. Landon Slaggert actually contributed a goal in Notre Dame's first round victory. Unfortunately for them, their run would come to an end in the 2nd round with a 1-0 defeat to Minnesota State. The Fighting Irish would finish with a record of 28-12-0 on the season.

The only prospect who didn't make it out of the first round was UMass's Slava Demin. UMass fell to Denver by a score of 3-2. The would finish at a record of 21-11-3.

Really nothing from any of these prospects that made them stand out other than the Landon Slaggert goal. He also had a weird situation where he thought he had a second goal which would have been the game winner, but it was called back after review. His older brother Graham Slaggert actually ended up being the one to net the game winner for the Fighting Irish. Unfortunate that all of the Blackhawks prospects are now out, but should there are definitely still some entertaining match-ups to look forward to for the remainder of the tournament.
