Another 2 NHL Players Are Leaving The League..
It seems as if it is a trend nowadays for players to leave the NHL to play elsewhere for a much smaller percentage of salary, but it makes sense as some want to play closer to home. Alexander Radulov has confirmed he is leaving the NHL to do so, as well as former starting goalie for the Oilers Mikko Koskinen is as well.
Yesterday @puckempire on Instagram announced that a Boston Bruin as well as a San Jose Shark are leaving the NHL to play closer to home, the two prospects have yet to see much NHL playing time and are taking their talents elsewhere, where they will be used appropriately.
Is this a new trend in the NHL? If players are getting drafted but little to no playing time to get a shot at the roster, will we be seeing more of this?
