BREAKING: Former 15th Overall Pick Has Officially Signed With a Western Conference Team
The San Jose Sharks are one of the most confusing teams as of late, they have traded away Brent Burns- a fan favourite and the teams most valuable player. They have a great young core filled with highly scouted prospects and a solid core, but are scrambled in most spots especially goaltending.. they are indeed, tanking.
With talks about the teams most valuable forward Timo Meier wanting to be traded, and also the franchise not re-signing a separate forward they are missing a forward spot. That forward being former first round pick Evgeny Svechnikov, who had seven goals and nineteen points last year with the Winnipeg Jets.
He officially signed a one-year deal worth $750,000, as a ''prove it'' contract.
