BREAKING: Former 15th Overall Pick Has Officially Signed With a Western Conference Team

With talks about the teams most valuable forward Timo Meier wanting to be traded, and also the franchise not re-signing a separate forward they are missing a forward spot. That forward being former first round pick Evgeny Svechnikov, who had seven goals and nineteen points last year with the Winnipeg Jets.

He officially signed a one-year deal worth $750,000, as a ''prove it'' contract.
