BREAKING: Former Blackhawk Gets His Shot at The Playoff Tonight
Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Sam Lafferty was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs during the NHL trade deadline this year. After a limited role in the regular season, Lafferty finally got his chance in the playoffs. However, in Round 1, he only played four games and was benched for the remaining games, watching from the press box.
Now, in Round 2, Lafferty has another opportunity to prove himself on the ice. He was scratched for Game 1 but is set-Re to replace Zach Astonese for Game 2. This is a crucial moment for the forward, as he has a chance to demonstrate his skills and contribute to his team's success. Leafs fans are not too happy about the swap though.
Lafferty's journey to the NHL playoffs has been a challenging one, but he has remained determined and focused. He will undoubtedly give his best effort on the ice, hoping to make an impact for the Maple Leafs. He also joins former Blackhawk Jake McCabe, who was also moved to Toronto at the trade deadline.
