Blackhawks Caleb Jones continues to humiliate himself and loses the game for his team in the final minutes
Where do we start with Caleb Jones?
Caleb Jones was acquired by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2020 off-season in a trade that sent Duncan Keith to the Edmonton Oilers, the trade was more for the sake of heart then anything.
Duncan Keith needed to play in Canada so he could spend more time with his little one and wife, and Caleb Jones reunited with his brother Seth when landing in Chicago.
Caleb's first season in a Blackhawks jersey earned him a new career high in the point total category with 16. So far this season, he has 6 points in just 14 games and will crush that total if he keeps it up.. or, if he can stay in the lineup.
Aside from the fact that he has the most points out of all Blackhawks defensemen, it is not a huge accomplishment as Seth Jones, the teams star defensemen is out with a injury, and Caleb has struggled deeply as of late.
Jones was benched after one of many horrific plays throughout the past week, but this one more so then others.
Head coach Luke Richardson stated ''he needs a couple games off for a refresh''.
Well, a couple games only meant one, he was back in the lineup after being scratched for just one game, and had a brutal defensive showing on the Pittsburgh Penguins game winning goal, to hand the Blackhawks a loss in Marian Hossa's jersey retirement night.
