Connor Bedard Doesn't Back Down Against 34-Year Old 900 Game NHL Veteran Zach Bogosian

Despite a tough loss for the Blackhawks, Connor Bedard is in the headlines as it is quite clear his confidence has taken a serious step forward.

Halfway through the second frame, Bedard and 898 game NHL veteran Zach Bogosian, exchanged a few blows.

The play leading up to the altercation oversaw Bogosian, 34, potentially try and slewfoot the rookie sensation Bedard. In return, the 19-year old gave him a few jabs to the back of the head, than things escalated in front of the Minnesota Wild's goal.

Despite a 15-29-5 record at the bottom of the NHL and Central Division, Bedard still remains strong and confidence is surely growing on the rookie.

Hacks and wacks began, where Bedard met Bogosian face to face in front of the Minnesota net.

Bogosian, a 6'3", 231 lb defenseman, stared down a 5'10", 185 lb Connor Bedard, and what happened next may shock you.

Bedard stood his ground, glancing up at the 34-year old veteran and delivered a shove.

While fans have not been treated to much this NHL season, which has been jam-packed with underwhelming performances, it is a significant brightside to see Bedard's confidence growing as he faces NHL veterans.

Bedard understand fans' frustrations, as he's noted numerous times during post-game interviews, and the 19-year old is trying to help with those frustrations through actions, and interacting with fans.
