Blackhawks Head Coach Makes a Statement That Chicago Fans May Be Happy to Hear
The Blackhawks have a lot of trade chips this year as they will be looking to acquire assets at the trade deadline, we all know that Kane, Toews, McCabe and Lafferty are some of the pieces the Blackhawks are going to be looking to move on, or before March 3rd.
Head coach Luke Richardson said this, this morning..
"At breakfast this morning..I flipped on TSN and it seems quiet everywhere. I'm sure there's calls, but it's just all, 'Make sure you call me if you're doing anything,' and there's no offers. That's the only thing I've heard."
Seems like conversations have slowed down recently, or the Blackhawks aren't getting a return that they would like for their players. Which may not be a bad case if you're a Blackhawks fan. Kane's recent hip injury and Toews out until further notice with an illness means we may not see Kane or Toews moved this year.
In a stacked draft this year the Blackhawks will be looking to get a lot of draft picks that would hopefully be able to help their rebuild faster.
