The Chicago Blackhawks face a temporary setback as newly acquired forward Anthony Beauvillier is unable to make his debut with the team tonight against Detroit due to visa issues.
Petr Mrazek will step into the goaltender's role for the game. Despite the delay, the Blackhawks are optimistic that Beauvillier will join them in Winnipeg, navigating through the visa process to be eligible for the next game in Canada. This is tough news as the Blackhawks are already missing several players such as Corey Perry (contract terminated), Andreas Athanasiou (injured), Taylor Hall (injured) and more.
However, the exact timeline for his availability beyond that remains uncertain.
