One player that is so underated yet played a big part of the Chicago Blackhawks success during his tenor and that's defenceman Brent Seabrook.
Seabrook was a huge part of the Blackhawks three recent Stanley Cups including that moment in the Detroit series when Seabrook would turn the series around by motivating Jonathan Toews.
After playing in 1,114 games from the team that drafted him 14th overall in 2003, Seabrook would score 103 goals, and 361 assists for a total of 464 points.
Now that Seabrook's playing career is over fans want to know what's next for him?
Yesterday Seabrook would announce he's officially signed a contract to be a player development coach for the Vancouver Giants of the WHL. This is a great step and opportunity for Seabrook, and I'm sure will no doubt see Seabrook end up behind the bench of a NHL team soon enough.
