Carey Price Receives Worst News Possible: Career Likely Over
Carey Price is well known as a generational goaltender of the current era of the National Hockey League, to prove that statement you can take a look at his stats from just a couple seasons ago, Price was indeed a different breed.
Something you cannot just look up is mental health and certain addictions, Price had his fair share of battles last season and is a true warrior. One year ago Price agreed to take part in the NHL's player assistance program. After Price took place in the program he only participated in 5 games, his final came alongside a big win on April 29th, which may have been his last game played in the NHL.

Reporter Chris Johnston took to social media to share a large statement made by Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes:
Montreal Canadiens GM Kent Hughes says he doesn't see a path for Carey Price to return and play during the 2022-23 season.
Price has been going through treatments of Platelet Rich Pasma, also known as the short term variation PRP, which is also known as a final option for athletes to save their sports careers while they can. Sadly that was not the case for Carey Price, the treatments have not worked whatsoever and it is looking like it may be time for Price to hang up the skates, and call it a career- if so, he had one heck of a astonishing career.
