Connor Bedard Reveals His True Love in The NHL isn't for the Blackhawks
As the Blackhawks' 1C, Connor Bedard may be the next rising star in the Chicago hockey market.
His heart lies elsewhere, as the Vancouver-born player shared a lot in an interview with "What Chaos!" podcast this week.
Bedard needs to be a Canuck
When he was five years old, he experienced Game 5 against San Jose during the 2011 Stanley Cup playoffs. In addition, he remembered Alex Burrows' overtime goal that beat the Blackhawks.
Following that, he recounts the team's devastating loss to the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup finals, of course giving him nothing but sadness.
He vowed he would never part with his Canucks gear despite playing for the Blackhawks.
Despite the Canucks' poor showing in the NHL the last few seasons, it seems that love dies hard with Bedard and the franchise.
