Connor Murphy Comments On The Amazing News He Announced Last Weekend

This past weekend, Blackhawks defenceman Connor Murphy announced on Instagram that he had proposed to his now-fiancée Kristina Trifunovic.
Yesterday morning, Murphy commented on the amazing news after training.
"I was nervous. ... We had a photographer with us, and she thought it was a photoshoot just of us for fall pictures or something," he said
Connor Murphy also mentioned that he had to be persistent to conquer her at the beginning of their relationship.
"She was busy and always busy and did not want to meet with me for a while. ... I was persistent and now here we are," he added.
So far this season, Connor Murphy has scored one goal. It's Murphy's sixth season with the Hawks. Last year, he scored 10 points in 57 games.
