Embelishment, or dives if you will have been a large topic across the league for some time. It's easily agreeable that players will give their all to win, but drawing penalties seems to have decreased integrity for some players.
You can go through teams, and maybe not all, but some will ring the name of a player in your mind who is known for diving, in trying to gain a powerplay for their teams advantage.
While being competitive is a part of the sport, the most important, it's quite a joke seeing a player trip over air.
Here's the latest absolute mockery of officiating.
Now, this isn't one of the worst ones, but it seems the league needs to address this, otherwise opposing teams will, which will lead to more frustration than necessary. Calling the penalty as it is, is the best recipe to deter such brutal acts of embelishment.
