The Hawks main asset taken from giving DeBrincat to the Senators was the 7th overall pick, which was then used to draft Kevin Korchinski.
Lukas Reichel on the other hand has only played in eleven NHL games and is pushing hard to make it on the Blackhawks roster full-time this upcoming season. Reichel is only 20 years of age, and dominated with AHL with ease last season producing at least a point per game throughout his entire season with the Blackhawks.
Now Reichel has translated it into the big leagues, and buried his first as a Blackhawk assisted by Kevin Korchinski.
