During warmups before his 500th game, former Hawks player Nikita Zadorov went to his two daughters sitting in the front row. He kissed both through the glass, and it was a sweet moment. Moments like this remind us that hockey players are also real people with families.
In July 2021, Zadorov was traded to the Calgary Flames in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. With that pick, Chicago selected center Aidan Thompson. Zadorov has 3 goals and 1 assist in 15 games this season. In his only season with the Hawks, the Russian defenseman totaled 22 points in 74 games. During his career, Zadorov also played for Buffalo and Colorado.
