Blackhawks Defensemens Worst Play of The Season Left Teammates Furious
The Chicago Blackhawks were in hunt for their third win throughout the last five games but fell short by a score of 0-3 against the Carolina Hurricanes, at th United Centre last night (Monday).
The Blackhawks, who were coming off a 3-2 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday, headed into Mondays game holding a record of 6-5-3, and just one point out of a playoff spot which is quite impressive due to the expectations surrounding the Blackhawks heading into this season.
The Blackhawks sadly ran into a brick wall by the name of Pyotr Kochetkov who stopped all twenty-seven of the Blackhawks shots throughout the game to earn his first ever career shutout in their 3-0 win.
The Hurricanes have put up seven goals against the Oilers, five against the Leafs, and six goals against the Avalanche this season which is one of the only bright side stories made out of the Blackhawks 0-3 loss.
Petr Mrazek continued to play great as usual, but once again the Blackhawks showed little to zero support which resulted in multiple of the Hurricanes' goals, including this brutal cough up by Blackhawks defensemen Caleb Jones which may be the worst turnovers throughout the NHL this season.
