Former Blackhawks Legend Passes Away at 84 and Jeremy Roenick Takes to Twitter to Share His Thoughts and Prayers
Yesterday, the hockey world got a shock when the death of former Blackhawks ambassador, Hall of Famer, and controversial legend Bobby Hull was announced. Many stars, former teammates, managers, etc posted messages of condolences, including another former Chicago superstar, Jeremy Roenick.
Roenick's message was short and sweet, and the picture he shared clearly shows his love for his friend.
Hull and Roenick have a lot in common, especially having worn the same logo for so many years, each. Of their many similarities, the most rare is that of being 2 of the only 3 members of the Chicago Blackhawks' 50 Goal Club. Hull is a 5 time member, and Roenick a 2 time member. They are joined by one time member, Al Secord.
On a picture with Hull in April of 2019, Roenick's caption reads, «One of the greatest players of all time, Mr Bobby Hull. I'm so honored to have worn the same logo as you in my career. Very blessed to be part of the @nhlblackawks family! #legend».
