Former Blackhawks Organization Forward Gets His Contract Terminated
Joseph Cramarossa, who was a member of the Rockford Icehogs in 2019-20, had his contract terminated by the Minnesota Wild.
Cramarossa spent four games in the NHL this season and had just one assist during those games. In 19 games played at the AHL level, he managed nine points with four goals.
Back in 2019-20, with the IceHogs, Cramarossa compiled just 12 points in 42 games. As a winger, that is not efficient enough to get the call to the NHL.
It seems that Cramarossa and the Wild had a mutual agreement to terminate the contract. The former 3rd-round pick will look to find a home elsewhere, but likely not in the NHL.
