There were a few lineup moves made by the Blackhawks today before tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Caleb Jones is starting tonight. I don't want to put any hate towards Luke Richardson, but this Caleb Jones dream of his has to stop. He is simply not good, and yet we're starting him over a young defenseman who actually has potential, Ian Mitchell. Jones has 1 goal and 9 assists, totaling up to 9 points in 30 games. The real kicker is his -16 on the season. I feel like we are stunting Mitchell's growth by doing this. Either start Ian, or send him back down to Rockford.

A promising blue-chip prospect who's getting the start tonight is Isaak Phillips. Phillips is 21 years old, and was recently called up from the Icehogs. Isaak has 1 point on the season, that point being an assist. Now, he has a -7, which isn't good. So, why am I getting on him and not Caleb? Caleb Jones is 25 years old, and has 174 games played. He should be hitting his prime. Isaak Phillips has 11 games played in his career, and still has so much to learn.

The Blackhawks will be stuffing Petr Mrazek in the crease as the netminder, with Jaxson Stauber being the backup.

The Hawks could stun the Avalanche tonight, as they're beaten and battered. But, so is Chicago, as Patrick Kane just hit the IR today.
