Former Blackhawks Player Suffers Gruesome Injury and Posts Photos of His Stitches After Nearly Losing His Ear
The Chicago Blackhawks decided to move on from several forwards his season, a few names include Kirby Dach, Dominik Kubalik, Alex DeBrincat, Dylan Strome and depth forward Ryan Carpenter, who spent three years with the Blackhawks organization.
Carpenter was waived by the Blackhawks and continued his career with the Calgary Flames, and is now a New York Rangers.
The other night Carpenter played one of his first games with the Rangers and things did not go well whatsoever, Carpenter, a gritty player who gets in gritty areas as much as possible did so, but it ended very badly, and he almost lost his ear.
Photos of his injury have been revealed, and the 10+ stitches he received as well.
*Content warning* the photos may be disturbing to some.
Thankfully he still has his ear, now, should players be forced to wear ear guards? A lot of players have them on their helmets but most remove them.
