After departing from Chicago on bad terms, Coach Q headed down to Florida to coach the Panthers.

In 2+ years with the Panthers, Quennevillle had a 79-40-13 record following 11 years and 3 Stanley Cups with the Hawks.

Panthers relieved Quenneville of his coaching duties early last season, despite a 7-0-0 start to the year.

You may be wondering why the Panthers would fire a coach that has led the team to a 7-0-0 record. Well, he left on bad terms with the Panthers, as well.

Prior to the dismissal of Quenneville, a former Blackhawk came out and accused members of the coaching staff for sexual assault.

Quenneville was not listed as the min suspect, but he did have his name mentioned for mishandling the situation after the player brought it up to the staff years ago.

A year removed from being fire, Quenneville reportedly has strong interest to return.

Before he can return, though, Quenneville must be allowed back into the league by Gary Bettman and the Florida Panthers.

If he is allowed to return, he is most definitely going to have teams calling, as there are plenty of coach's who are on the hot seat.
