It wasn't the year the Winnipeg Jets were expecting after believing they had the right pieces in place to be a playoff contender the Jets failed to make the playoffs. This has had Winnipeg Jets fans to ask for change and changes likely coming.
However, The Winnipeg Jets could look drastically different next season and beyond. After Mark Scheifele hinted he would like to play elsewhere and the shocking news Pierre Luc-Dobois is going to test the free agent market in 2024 the Jets could he losing another top star also.
Hockey Insider Frank Seravali revealed the Winnipeg Jets are looking at dealing their Captain Blake Wheeler. This is a huge surprise with Wheeler being a huge fan favorite in Winnipeg and has been a very important player and a great Captain.
There's no word what the asking price is yet or what team's have shown interest but it will be likely the Jets will receive alot of calls to get a player like Blake Wheeler on their team's roster next season.
