Tonight the Blackhawks visit the Boston Bruins for their first matchup of the season. The Bruins have been on a roll to start the season and find themselves with a comfortable lead in the Atlantic Division. They are 15-2-0 through their first 17 games and have an 8 point lead on Toronto.

The Blackhawks on the other hand have not been too good recently. The Blackhawks are 6-7-3 and have been decimated by poor defensive play and lack of steady offensive contributions. It is undeniable that the Blackhawks have been playing with heart, but it hasn't been enough to make up for the mistakes and lack of production.
Some notable players to watch in this one for the Bruins are David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron. Pastrnak has 7 points in his last 5 games. Bergeron has 4 goals in his last 5 games.
Some players to watch for the Hawks will be Max Domi and Patrick Kane. Domi has 4 points in his last 5 games and Kane has been generating more offensive chances as of late.
It will be a tough game, but let's see if the Blackhawks can escape Boston with a point or two.
