Kruger tallied 16 playoff points and 117 regular season points in Chicago. Kruger is a two-time Stanley Cup Champion, winning a ring with the 2013 and 2015 Blackhawks. Kruger was also an underrated at the faceoff dot, posting a career face off percentage of 50.5%. He played an instrumental role in the bottom six and on the penalty kill, often scoring timely goals and injecting life through his physical play when the Blackhawks needed it most. No goal was timelier than his triple-overtime winner versus the Anaheim Ducks in the 2015 Western Conference Final. Kruger's goal ended the longest game in Blackhawks's franchise history at the 16:12 mark in triple overtime, evening the Western Conference Final at 1 game apiece and bringing the Blackhawks back into the series.
